Netflix can compare with the heavier focus on mobile because a lot more people have started using it while they're not at home, on their phone. I've noticed that my phone updates Netflix almost every week, so they're constantly improving it.
Google can compare to the simple color scheme, it's mostly white.
Twitter can compare with the simplified content. Unlike Facebook, there's a character limit, making it easier and quicker to scroll through.
